Given that we do not practice fortune telling at the Academy, I wanted to write this document to enrich the information and spiritual culture of all those who are not satisfied with a few notions but always want to know more. The purpose of this article is simply to introduce you to the meaning of fortune telling, so that if you hear it mentioned, you will already know what it is. Don't worry: today I will not teach you how to read tarot cards, nor will I encourage you to use them. On the contrary, although I do not despise them, I am aware of the limitations of tarot cards, which not everyone understands, and I am aware of how many mistakes can be made, which a well-developed Sixth Sense does not repeat. Despite this, I believe it is important to know what it is because it will open your mind to things that are not part of your everyday experience. The Academy is very open to the countless psychic abilities that are not limited to energy awareness, meditation, or energy healing. Within A.C.D., you can find practical techniques on all psychic faculties and interesting information even on topics that are not in tune with our ideals, simply because I believe that ignorance only leads to terror, fear of the unknown, and negativity. Knowing the different ideas and tools used by others does not mean you have to practice them, but thanks to knowledge, you can decide whether to stay away from them or approach them because you will have a criterion on which to base your decision. Clearly, it will be your responsibility not to be influenced by any discipline simply because you have read about it, because otherwise you would only need to read any conflicting topic to be led astray at any moment of any day. That said, I want to explain what fortune telling is, what tarot cards are—without belittling or praising them—and why it is preferable to develop the Sixth Sense. 

Fortune telling is the name given to the practice of using tarot cards, mostly to see the future, but not only. Those who use the cards are called fortune tellers, whether they are women or men, although we are more accustomed to associating tarot cards and their use with women. Nowadays, there are many types of tarot cards on the market to meet various needs, although buying a deck has become more of a symbol than a real desire to use them, because for many it seems like an initiation into the spiritual world. The most widely used deck is the Marseille tarot, from which many others have been derived, changing the images but keeping roughly the same meaning and number of cards. Then there are tarot cards with images, those with more stylized symbols, those with angels drawn on them, and so on. They are mostly used to predict the future or to confirm doubts or choices that must be made in the present. 

Inside them are symbols that must then be interpreted by the reader—the fortune teller—to decipher their message and therefore their meaning. These designs can be swords, cups, death, and so on, and each of them symbolizes something depending on the context in which they are found, so each card can mean something different when associated with other types of cards and depending on its position. In fact, they do not have a fixed meaning, which is why, at first glance, tarot cards can seem very difficult to interpret. To understand them, you must first memorize the meanings of each of the 78 cards and remember th s that can vary. Of course, there is a small written guide included in the deck that lists the meanings of each card, which you can consult whenever you want. After that, the skill of the fortune teller lies in understanding the messages that the cards want to communicate, regardless of the designs and the position in which they are found, by becoming familiar with their deck and becoming a part of it. In fact, it is rare for a fortune teller to swap their deck with someone else's, because tarot cards become very personal from the moment you touch them and work with them a little: you establish a connection with them that allows them to work better in the hands of their owner, provided, of course, that they know how to read them. This is why fortune tellers prefer to always use the same deck rather than changing one every day, aware that their energy has given 'life' to the tarot cards (symbolically speaking) and that this will allow them to better understand their answers.

At this point, each card reader chooses the best deck for themselves, because not all decks are the same and the choice varies depending on the method each reader uses to interpret the answers and the personal feeling the deck gives them. For some fortune tellers, it becomes almost impossible to read cards with a deck that is not their own, because they have become so familiar with their own that they have imbued it with much of their energy, so that deck becomes "unique" to them, and they cannot achieve the same effect with others. But this depends on how much energy that person has imprinted on that object, and therefore on that deck; with a little time and effort, they could do the same thing with another deck and make it their new favorite. Therefore, it all depends on the person, not on the deck itself. In fact, the difference between the various types of tarot cards lies not only in the images drawn on them, but in the energy that the person has put into that deck. So the 'magic' is not so much in the deck itself, but in the person who has energetically programmed it to work according to their needs. Just as I explained to you a while ago, every object can be energetically programmed, and when something is used to obtain spiritual answers, the energy enters it and programs it to work according to your needs. So, if someone else uses it, it may not have the same effect because the energy with which it was programmed is not theirs, but that of its 'rightful owner'. Clearly, then, if a fortune teller is good, they can read any deck of cards, even if they are holding it for the first time, so much so that they can even read through a deck of playing cards, relying more on their own interpretations than on the designs depicted on the cards. 

Tarot cards are mostly used to give quick answers to questions that do not require lengthy explanations. Anyone can use them, but it is clear that some people know how to use them better than others. The two main methods used are to take a single card that gives the answer to the question, or to do a full round of cards (which may also be accompanied by a second and third pass to increase the detail of the answer). Some fortune tellers show the deck to the client who wants to have their future predicted or obtain an immediate answer, asking them to pick a card and then show it to the reader, who will explain its meaning. In short, the person must pick a card at random from among all those placed face down, revealing it only after choosing it, a bit like opening a page of a little book of answers to read what it says. After that, they can read the answer themselves if there is a written phrase on that card, or it will be explained to them by the fortune teller, who will list the various meanings that could relate to the customer's personal life. At this point, the session can be considered over, or you can continue by starting the card round: in this phase, the customer will ask their question, the fortune teller will shuffle the deck, concentrating well on that question, then have the client divide the deck, letting them touch it and halve it so that the cards take on their frequency and can answer their questions. Then, they will place several cards on the table, always face down so that the meanings cannot be seen immediately. Sometimes there are 13 cards, sometimes fewer, depending on the fortune teller's personal choice. After placing the cards according to the standard method, or choosing a personal method that helps them understand the meaning of the order of the cards, they will begin the reading. Each card must be interpreted according to its position (whether it is at the top left, bottom right, and so on) and its proximity to other cards (if it is next to death and money, it has a different meaning than if it is next to swords and the High Priestess). Furthermore, finding a card upside down can mean something different from the initial solution. After that, the fortune teller communicates the answers of the cards to the other person, simply explaining what they say. The skill of the fortune teller lies not only in reading what the cards say, but in making them tell the truth, using their own energy to make the right cards appear while shuffling them, so that they are energetically guided into the right position within the deck, ready to be read when they are placed on the table. Furthermore, the cards can be interpreted differently depending on the feeling they give to their owner, so the greater their skill, the better they will be able to read the future. Sometimes, the cards may even say something correct, but if the reader is not good at interpreting them, they will end up giving a quick and superficial explanation.

If the first round of cards does not answer the questions asked, move on to the second round, placing more cards on top of those already laid out, face down, and only turning them over when all the cards have been laid out and are ready to be read. If you have ever witnessed a reading, you will have noticed that fortune tellers tend to place the cards face down and only turn them over to see their contents once they have finished placing them all; not before. In fact, it is rare for a fortune teller to turn the cards over before placing them perfectly in position, because the idea is that turning them over too early could change their meaning. Each card has multiple meanings: for example, the Death card could indicate problems ahead, the failure of a project, or, depending on its position, even a great revolution, a drastic but positive change, and so on. In summary, the client asks the question and the fortune teller reads the answer by interpreting the cards. Fortune tellers are mostly sought out for the same questions that frighten everyone: 

"Will I find the love of my life?" or "Is my husband cheating on me?"; other times they concern the success of a personal project or getting hired for a new job. So the person asks the question, for example, "Does my husband have a lover?" and the cards will show answers, for example, that a female figure is much closer than she should be, suggesting that the lover may not be an unfounded suspicion. Of course, they may not tell the truth. The questions vary between present and future, as does the general reading of the future, in which the cards could, for example, reveal that in a few years you will have an illness or there will be a bereavement in the family. Tarot cards cannot go any further, as the combinations are limited, so they cannot form coherent sentences but can show events that, of course, must be interpreted correctly and are not always easy to understand. An example is illness, which may not be easy to guess precisely what it is or on what specific date it will occur. Clearly, clients must also be able to ask their questions clearly, which, more often than not, they are unable to do. Unfortunately, people demand answers to questions they do not even know themselves, expecting psychics, mediums, fortune tellers, etc., to answer questions they are not even capable of formulating. Expectations are often too high. Although one might believe otherwise, fortune tellers are visited by many people because even if they say they do not believe in such things and want nothing to do with them, as soon as their lives reach a crossroads where they are unsure of which choice to make, they will rush and furiously to the first fortune teller they come across to ask for advice or help. Many people, even the most unsuspecting, have visited a fortune teller at least once in their lives or continue to visit them in secret. In reality, there is nothing strange about this. 

Fortune telling is generally associated with a female figure, with fortune tellers thought of as strange, slightly crazy women, always accompanied by a black cat. The idea that fortune tellers must be typical 'witches' with purple cloaks and long nails has been somewhat exaggerated. Unfortunately, however, people get used to these icons and are disappointed if fortune tellers do not reflect this lifestyle, a bit like the idea that a spiritual master cannot be good unless he has a long white beard and his own mountain where he can meditate and isolate himself from the rest of the world. In fact, according to many, a spiritual master cannot be a woman, cannot be young, cannot be beautiful, but must necessarily be an old man with a white beard or, at most, an old witch, about whom they will still have something to say. With this in mind, in order not to disappoint their customers, some fortune tellers end up revamping their wardrobe, or rather aging it, and start dressing like the typical gypsy fortune tellers we see in cartoons, complete with 'old woman' clothes. It is true that fortune telling is an ancient art, and it has been particularly well known since the 19th century, when more and more people began to practice it, and it is also true that women practiced it much more than men, but in reality there are also many male fortune tellers, just as there are many male sorcerers.1800s, when more and more people began to practice it, and it is also true that women made much more use of it, but in reality there are also many male fortune tellers, just as there are many sorcerers, although fortune tellers and sorcerers are two completely different things, a bit like we tend to associate a fortune teller with a medium, or a medium with a clairvoyant for simplicity's sake, even though they have very distinct meanings.

Partly due to social situations, partly due to habits, and partly due to ability, fortune telling has become more popular among women. Until recently, women were mostly housewives; they often did not work and were not financially independent, but had to be supported by their husbands, so they had more time to develop their skills, including fortune telling. Single women, then, had even more free time and sometimes harbored hatred, thus becoming witches or "evil witches," nothing more than women who used their abilities to harm others. Although times have changed, some social impositions still prevent gender equality in every sense. For example, if a young girl went to buy a pack of tarot cards to play with her friends, her peers might think she was crazy or strong and interesting. If a young boy went to buy tarot cards, his peers might think he was crazy, effeminate, gay, or weak, or they might think he was strong and interesting. Although cards do not define a person's sexual orientation, if a boy practices an art that is mostly associated with women, he may be ridiculed by others. This is probably why modern fortune tellers are more likely to be women than men, because of the fear of ridicule by the male sex. On the other hand, it is true that women are a little more inclined towards certain abilities, such as premonition, while men are more inclined towards others, although, as I always explain and repeat, the Sixth Sense is the same for everyone, females and males alike can develop it to very high levels if they decide to commit themselves, without any differences. 

Regardless of this, female fortune tellers are still associated with the typical female figure with long, puffy, frizzy hair, very long nails with red or purple nail polish, fingers adorned with large rings containing stones or crystals, a dark cloak, and always accompanied by one or more black cats. All this without knowing why. Some fortune tellers dress like this in front of their clients just to make a scene, others because they are so excited about being card readers that they feel superior to everyone else, behaving like typical sour old maids; others, however, dress normally, recognizing that the ability to tell fortunes does not change if you decide to wear jeans instead of gypsy dresses. Well, it's mostly tradition, because those clothes make you feel more ancient, like the art of fortune telling; the cloak gives an aura of mystery, the puffy hair evokes a slightly older hairstyle, and the long nails also suggest an older woman who used her nails for chores and was not as attentive to her appearance as women of the past. Rings, complete with stones or crystals, are used to energize or protect the fortune teller from negative energies and entities that she might summon with the use of cards, as well as to strengthen her reading power (or at least that's what they think they do, but it's not as real as they believe), without forgetting the cat: remember that you are not a true fortune teller if you do not have a black cat in your home. The cat is an animal that has now been taken as a symbol of esotericism, although in reality it is no different from a dog or other animals that are much more sensitive to energies than cats but which, of course, are not considered because they are difficult to domesticate. The truth is that you can be a fortune teller without dressing that way, just as you can be a good teacher without a thick white beard, or a good wizard without always having a cauldron ready in the fireplace. 

The question that now interests us most is: do tarot cards really work or not? 

First of all, credit must go to both the tarot cards and the fortune teller who reads them, because it is true that anyone could pick up the cards, turn them over and lay them out on the table, and even an inexperienced hand could guess the truth; on the other hand, there are questions and questions, and it is very easy to get the answers wrong, especially if they concern the distant future or uncertain choices whose answers can change the entire course of one's life. In fact, the cards can vary depending on the mood of the fortune teller: sometimes the answer can even change depending on the client who, distressed by their problem, risks influencing the cards even without touching them, and thus the result of the answers will be wrong or uncertain; this is why the most experienced fortune tellers try to reassure their clients during the reading, to prevent their state of mind from influencing the course of the session.

Therefore, if the person reading the cards is in a bad mood, worried, insecure, and therefore does not exude tranquility, the cards could be influenced and give negative answers to everything. Similarly, if the person shuffling the cards, while asking the question, really wants to receive a specific answer, for example, "Yes, that's right," then the cards that come out will confirm "Yes, that's right." To check that the result is correct, the card reader must remain neutral and not influence the outcome of the cards, but connect well with the question so that the tarot cards are not selected at random but rather the right cards are chosen to reflect the closest answer. However, a good card reader does not rely solely on what their tools say, but also, and above all, on their personal feelings about the question. Unfortunately, most card readers are convinced that they have all the skills developed to the highest level, that they are untouchable, that they never make a mistake, even though they are always full of fears and health problems. In fact, almost all fortune tellers do not meditate, do not protect themselves with psychic techniques, and do not develop their sixth sense because they base their power completely on the cards, unable to obtain answers in any other way than by shuffling them. 

Tarot cards are a very interesting medium because they can really hit the mark and fully engage us when in the hands of a skilled fortune teller, but they cannot guarantee absolute truth, even seriously misinterpreting the answers about the past or present, let alone those about the future. Clearly, it depends on the person reading the cards, and if the person who claims to know how to read them is actually incompetent, you cannot blame fortune telling for the unpreparedness of an individual who uses it inexperienced. Regardless, tarot cards are an earthly means of receiving some information about the future, but they are by no means a way of answering all spiritual questions. Certainly, a person may receive correct, even difficult, answers to earthly and everyday questions, but they cannot receive profound answers about spiritual evolution, because we cannot access that. Tarot cards are an earthly medium that belong to this planet and are closely connected to Gaia's mind. The reason why the cards can 'predict' part of the future or give answers about present choices is because they are connected to Gaia's mind, which knows the future of all its inhabitants, having mostly calculated it herself. Therefore, the cards draw on Gaia's knowledge (as far as they can, so not completely) and the calculations she has made for the 'destiny' of each human being, and then reflect this in the images that appear, which, if interpreted correctly, can give good answers. The problem is that tarot cards stop there, as they cannot give deeply evolved answers. There are barriers that earthly means cannot overcome, just as pendulums, crystals, or advanced technology cannot. Some dimensions and vibrations can only be reached with an evolved sixth sense, which is why the evolution of one's psyche through advanced techniques is preferable to tarot cards. The future is a set of choices, and as long as it is the future of an ordinary person who does not meditate or practice any techniques to evolve their soul and break free from the Matrix program, and therefore from Gaia's total control, then the cards can predict their future very well, as it is already almost entirely written. On the contrary, if we are talking about a person who practices to evolve their Soul and seriously begins to make choices outside the control and decisions previously made by the Matrix, their future becomes inaccessible to an earthly medium such as tarot cards. 

Moreover, the Sixth Sense—if truly evolved—is beyond the mind control of the planet and any other entity that wants to take command of it, while tarot cards, or rather the answers they give, can be controlled by third parties even in the moment. To give an example, the question could be: "Will I evolve spiritually?" and the answer could be influenced by negative entities that will bring out a pessimistic outcome just to block you, to scare you or make you lose hope and therefore decide not to even try; or the opposite, giving you a positive answer knowing, however, that you will relax and not act to make it happen, because you have already received the nice answer that was given to you as a consolation prize.

If the person seeking answers is someone who could become very spiritually capable, they will try even harder to cut them off at the knees with negative answers even to the most trivial and mundane questions, whether they concern love, work, success, or anything else that could cause them suffering. Tarot cards are very influenced by external energies that can prevent you from always getting the right answers, because other entities may intervene to change the result and manipulate the course of the session. Every material object we have in this dimension, such as cards, stones, and crystals, is closely linked to Gaia; for this reason, although they may work for a while, they are not reliable when it comes to truly evolved choices. Therefore, as long as tarot cards are used with a strong detachment from the answers they give—almost like a game—they do not cause problems, but when people fixate on the answers, convinced that the tarot cards have given them the absolute truth, serious damage is done. Tarot cards do not give the absolute truth even in the hands of a skilled fortune teller, because they are influenceable and cannot go beyond a certain limit, which the evolved Sixth Sense can reach. As already mentioned, they can be right about some things, even very right, but about many others they are not, and it is not worth blindly relying on a method that sometimes tells the truth and sometimes is completely wrong. This does not mean that we should stay away from them as if they were the devil, but we must become aware that no material means can surpass the abilities of the Sixth Sense, as the latter is closely connected to the Universe, which draws on the knowledge of God, the one who truly Knows. Tarot cards have no connection to God, they do not know all the information that the Universe can give; the evolved Sixth Sense does. This is because tarot cards are simply an object , a deck of cards; the Sixth Sense, on the other hand, is part of the Soul, which is alive, exists on the highest vibrations, and is not and never will be comparable to an object.

Among other things, the future is a much more complex concept than it seems for tarot cards to be able to reflect it perfectly. If we are talking about a person who does not practice and lives completely subjugated to the Low (the so-called Gaia's Low), their future is much more predictable—precisely because it is decided by the Low of this planet, which will program their Matrix—and therefore even tarot cards can predict it much better. If, on the other hand, we are talking about a person who is unpredictable in the eyes of the Low, because they practice, evolve, and consciously break free from manipulation and low vibrations (as a Celestial Practitioner should), their future will be much more difficult to predict, because it will be built little by little, changing direction very often thanks to the evolution that will change their destiny. The future of a spiritual person who practices constantly cannot be understood by the cards, because it is something that the Matrix cannot program to the letter. The practitioner will decide their own life through techniques and could change their future second by second, from one extreme to the other. The cards will obviously not say, "We don't know the answer," but will seek the most acceptable answer for the person asking, even if it is light years away from the truth. The cards are connected to the vibrations of the Matrix of this dimension, so they cannot go too far; therefore, with Celestials, they are very misleading. If one wanted to read the future of a Celestial Practitioner (always referring to someone who practices advanced techniques such as those of A.C.D., whose quality I am certain of), one could make mistakes several times, say absurd things, or give answers that seem true according to logical reasoning but are absolutely nonsensical, since every single piece of one's life can be changed. Certainly, if the cards were able to read the future of a Celestial Practitioner perfectly, it is certain that the latter is not practicing well at all. Blindly trusting the cards, therefore, becomes dangerous when people start to listen to the negative outcomes predicted by the cards rather than their own feelings. They might get something right and thus lead the reader to believe that they are telling the whole truth, and when it comes to reading the future, the person in question will believe that the cards have some truth to them and therefore believe that their future will fail, or go as the tarot cards say. Obviously, it is no coincidence that the cards often tend to give negative or wrong results when it comes to a Celestial Practitioner.

The cards are extremely manipulable by the Low and by external entities, so they will make the spiritual person forget that no matter what future has been predicted for them, they could change it completely through the right techniques; unfortunately, most of the time, people, even practitioners, forget their power and allow themselves to be deceived by pessimism. Tarot cards can make mistakes about the future of Gaia's Low, let alone the future of the Celestials! 

Personally, I appreciate all forms of spirituality and esotericism, whether it be tarot cards, pendulums, etc.; I have met and frequent many people who are skilled at using tarot cards, I have used them, I know how to use them very well, but that does not mean I rely on them for my daily life, let alone for the most important choices, because the sixth sense is the only means that can guarantee me the absolute truth that I have never found and will never find in the cards. And that is what I seek from life. I realize that for those who practice tarot professionally, this document may be a blow, almost a criticism, but I can't help it if Gaia is smarter than most humans. It all depends on your goal for your future: do you want to evolve, develop your Sixth Sense, and get closer to Awakening, or do you want to spend your whole life staring at those cards? 

I believe that you cannot truly evolve spiritually if you are enslaved by an object of Gaia, which is why I teach psychic techniques to see the future and change it through your own will. This does not mean that you should eliminate them and not approach them, but I recommend using them only as a brief confirmation, which, in any case, should not be blindly trusted. All the more reason not to spend your life chasing cards because they won't solve your problems: psychic techniques will. In conclusion, cards are one of those tools that can be used from time to time to get double or triple confirmation, or to try to get closer to an answer. The important thing is not to depend on them, that's the point.
